If you've ever found yourself a week before the parade surrounded by rhinestones, glue, feathers, and mild panic…you're not alone.
After 13 years marching with the Prima Donnas, I realized something: we all love the creativity of beading our bustiers and making throws for the balcony — but finding the time to make dozens of bras every season can be a challenge.
So I started Throw La La.
I design and hand-make Mardi Gras bras so my fellow Prima Donnas can still have fabulous throws ready for parade day — without the midnight crafting marathons.

Every Throw La La bra is handcrafted using Mardi Gras beads, trim, rhinestones, and plenty of sparkle.
Most of the bras are designed as Classic Throw La La bras — perfect for tossing from our Bourbon Street balcony on parade day. Some bras get a extra sparkle and embellishment becoming Signature bras, which are perfect for parade throws or special friends and family.

The Story Behind Throw La La
I’ve been a member of the Prima Donnas marching crew for the past 13 years, and it’s been one of the most joyful and creative experiences of my life.
Being from Los Angeles, the culture, tradition, and pure fun of Mardi Gras in New Orleans was unlike anything I had ever experienced.
One of my favorite traditions has always been beading my bustier and creating bras to throw from the balcony on Bourbon Street during our parade day.
But every year the same problem pops up: time.
Between work, family, and everything else life throws at us, finding time to make dozens of balcony throws can be a challenge.
I created Throw La La to help solve that problem for you.
Think of it as a little extra sparkle support for Mardi Gras season.
